Rich Collier, Chief Operating Officer

Rich Collier joined ETI as chief operating officer with over 30 years of leadership experience in the high-tech industry. Before joining ETI, Mr. Collier served as president and CEO of TotalView Technologies, a leader in software tools for the HPC market, where he successfully grew the company and facilitated its acquisition by Rogue Wave Software. Notable previous roles also include vice president of engineering at Information Resources and vice president of engineering at Buzzeo, Inc. He also held various management and engineering positions at Digital Equipment Corporation. Mr. Collier holds a B.S. in Business with concentrations in computer science, marketing, and economics from LeMoyne College.

Dr. Rishi Khan, Vice President of R&D

As vice president of R&D at ETI, Dr. Rishi Khan is an active researcher in the areas of compiler optimization, systems biology and statistical analysis of large, highly interconnected systems, and has published work on numerous topics across these fields. Since joining ETI, he has led work in algorithm, runtime, and OS development for many-core systems including Cyclops-64 (160 core), clustered quad-socket 6-core Westmere (24 core), SCC (48 core), and Adapteva (16-1000 core). He is also the principal investigator from ETI on Intel’s DARPA UHPC extreme-scale project to produce a petaflop machine for the DoD. His current efforts are focused on building an extensible runtime machine built on a novel execution model that exploits parallel and heterogeneous architectures while reducing power consumption. Dr. Khan received his B.S. in Computer Engineering from University of Delaware and his Ph.D. in Computational Biology from a joint program between University of Delaware and Thomas Jefferson University.
